City Manager

    City Manager

    The City Manager is appointed by the City Council and serves as the chief administrative officer of the City.

    The mission of the City Manager’s Office is to effectively and efficiently implement the broad policies of the City Council and manage the day-to-day operations of the City.

    The City Manager’s office also represents Webster City in different venues and it works closely with other government agencies and community partners. The office maintains communication throughout the organization, the City Council, and the community.

    Daniel was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from from California State University, Northridge, and a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Urban Management from Arizona State University. He has also completed the University of Arizona’s Southwest Leadership Program and received a certificate in Management and Organization.

    Prior to coming to Webster City, Daniel was the City Administrator in Kimball, Nebraska. Daniel is a member of the International City/County Management Association (ICMA), and the Iowa City Management Association (IaCMA).

    Daniel and his wife, Rachel, have two small children. During his free time, he enjoys outdoor recreation and spending time with his family.
